We help people use modern smart thermostats with the air conditioning they already own.
Most air conditioning outside North America was never designed for Nest, ecobee or Honeywell thermostats. VRF systems, ducted splits and chilled water fan coils each control their indoor units in their own way. We supply and install DropAir adapters, which bridge that gap, so a household or building can get room-by-room smart control without replacing working AC equipment.
Who makes DropAir
DropAir adapters are made by DropAir Labs. DropAir Labs International operates dropair.org and sells and installs DropAir products. Product specifications on this site come from the manufacturer's published documentation.
How we work
Every order starts with a compatibility check. We ask for the indoor unit model and the current controller, because brand alone doesn't confirm compatibility. Only then do we quote. If you choose installation, our technicians fit and test every unit. If you choose supply only, we send the wiring diagram for your model and support your installer.
Who writes our guides
Our guides are written by our technical team and cite their sources: manufacturer documentation, utilities and government energy agencies. When a source changes, we update the guide.
